The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until 11 PM MST /midnight CST/ this evening.
A band of light snow will continue through this afternoon generally along a line from Flagler to Burlington to Russell Springs. Total accumulation of three to five inches with isolated higher amounts will be possible by this evening.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use extra caution while driving.
