@BEME
Yes, it's an hdr panorama. I try not to over-do the hdr part, it just works well with skies because generally with the bright skies the land and terrain will be way too dark. I try to make the picture look exactly like I saw it.

And again, thank you all for the wonderful comments, I'm deeply flattered and happy that the 400 mile trip was well worth it :)
Looking forward to chasing in Kansas some more!
