Thank you everyone! :-) This Owl was perched on an old post and flew across the dirt road. I then walked through some tall brush and tree limbs to an open area that had a few dead trees and a very small pond. I walked fairly close to this Owl and noticed this limb must be a frequent stop. Splendid shot of this handsome fellow. We have an owl, but he only shows himself at night and then it's when he's flying through the pasture. Don't suspect I'll ever have a photo of him.
