Thursday July 29, 2010 Chandler, AZ (Current Conditions)

There was no rotation on this storm, but it just LOOKED like it was a supercell with a wall cloud about to drop a funnel on the desert floor. Regardless, this cell spawned a bigger one, which was severe warned right over my house. The PWAT levels were over 2 inches today, and we recorded 1.35 inches of rain in about an hour. Insane storm, a HUGE microburst and periods of small hail. It's what I live for. (HDR Photo)
